I had been on active duty for less than a week when we were attacked by drones. I was struck by shrapnel in my arm, but I managed to apply a tourniquet. Unfortunately, I didn’t loosen it, resulting in the loss of my arm. I believe God was with us because we were left in an open field for three days before our colleagues could rescue us. My late wife was a believer, and now I want to learn more about God. The Family Table Ukraine team provided me with a Bible. – Martin, 55-year-old soldier
“I’m not sure if God can accept me after what I’ve done,” the soldier said. Our volunteer gently shared God’s gift of Jesus with him. The volunteer prayed with the soldier, and as she finished, he was crying. The next time we visited him, he was different, with a warmth and joy that was evident to us all. – Val served in Kursk.
