Pam D'Andre

Founder & Director

A graduate of Presbyterian School of Nursing(Philadelphia, Pa) and then LaSalle University (Philadelphia, Pa) with her BSN, Pam worked in different areas from orthopedics to management.   She moved to Kyiv, Ukraine in 2001 under Music Mission Kyiv, and began ministering to the poor, elderly and needy teaching lay people along the way, the principles of Faith Community Nursing.  Pam is now the Faith Community Nursing Coordinator for Ukraine and an EFCA/Reach Global missionary.   She helped establish The Association for Christian Nurses and Volunteers-Welfare (Blago) organization in 2012.  This is a teaching organization, and its foundation principles and education are from Westberg Institute.  (https://westberginstitute.org) She is also helped establish Social Rehabilitation Center Logos in Kotzubinske, Ukraine.

Pam desires to live out the scripture,”…I was sick and you visited me…when did we do this Lord…When you have done this to the least of your brethren and sisteren, you have done this unto Me.”(Mtt 25:35-45)  At this juncture in her missionary career, it seems God is leading her to focus on connecting like-minded ministries so that together the marginalized realize they have a place at The Table, therefore she established The Family Table Ukraine in January 2022.

She enjoys hiking, knitting cooking and spending time with her 3 grown sons, and “adopted” Ukrainian daughter - Nate, Kraze, Zhenya, and Linda.

Chris and his wife, Mary, are missionaries near Kyiv where they serve families who are affected by disability. They have nine children. Five of their children have Down syndrome (four of them are adopted from Ukraine). Chris served in different pastoral roles at First Moore Baptist Church in Moore, Oklahoma for 26 years before they moved to Ukraine to live full time. They returned to the States for furlough in January 2022. Because of the ongoing war in Ukraine, they are currently living in Moore, Oklahoma. They continue to minister to many of "their" refugees who are in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. They also remain in close contact with many of their friends and ministry partners in Ukraine.

I grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. I completed my undergraduate studies at Eastern Mennonite University, where I met my wife, Marina. Marina, having grew up in Kyiv, Ukraine, introduced me to Ukraine and its culture. I had the privilege of traveling to Lutsk, Ukraine in 2018, with Marina, to serve at a camp for individuals with developmental disabilities. Now, despite being busy with wrapping up my medical doctor degree at the Penn State University College of Medicine, I am eager to continue support the Ukrainian people through TFTU.

Although I was born in Chicago, I spent my childhood - from ages 2 to 12 - in Kyiv, where I was educated in the public school system of Podil and spent summers in our village of Grigorivka. I grew up fully immersed in my Ukrainian identity. However, I had to readjust that identity when I moved back to America, where I lived in various places, including outside of Philadelphia, in southern Virginia, and now in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

While studying for my undergraduate degree, I pursued cross-cultural studies throughout the Middle East, where I met my husband, Mason. I have spent many summers revisiting Kyiv and reconnecting with my roots.

Currently, I work as a registered nurse at Penn State Medical Center, where my husband, Mason, is attending medical school. We share a passion for Ukraine and her people, public health, and justice.
